 Democracy for Newton Mission Statement

The mission of Democracy for Newton is to build a grass roots movement of Newton residents committed to electing fiscally responsible, socially progressive, candidates at the local, state and national level toward the goal of creating a sustainable majority based on principles of democracy, active civic involvement, and responsive government.

This group will recruit and support candidates through fund-raising and volunteer efforts and will promote broader civic involvement and responsibility by Newton residents towards these goals.
